- The PI must completely rewrite the G∗Power parameters to reflect the actual study variables (carrageenan vs. test compounds not cisplatin) and clarify whether the final group size is n=6 or n=12.
- The PI must unify the terminal method. If cervical dislocation or decapitation is used, a proper anesthetic regimen (e.g., Ketamine/Xylazine combination) or inhaled anesthesia (e.g., Isoflurane) must be specified to ensure the animal is completely unresponsive to painful stimuli before the procedure.
- The PI marked "Not Applicable" for the criteria that would trigger humane endpoint Even in short-term, acute inflammatory models, "Not Applicable" is unacceptable.
