To get an effect size (f) of 3.1 and a study power of 90% (1- error probe), each study group will be assigned twelve rats. This number will be needed to prove that the effect of the drug on the treatment group is different from the effect on the normal control group.
The sample size calculation recommended 12 rats per group, you will use 6 only?
