·         Benefits to the participants : Diagnosis of the healthy status of the participants for detecting anemia (functional anemia) and jaundice as well as abnormal liver function in these subjects.

·         The research will have a direct or potential benefit, in the present or future, for the population : Developments of new biophysical methods, which are based on the multi-component spectrophotometric analysis, for determining the accurate concentrations of total bilirubin and hemoglobin derivatives in adult males and female subjects and by determining the reference concentrations in both subjects.
