Comment to the Committee

The protocol needs modifications:

- Arabic title: The translation of the word Agastache Rugosa is not Korean mint.

- The PI explained that the protocol is a re-presentation??

- Although the protocol is a registration for a doctorate, the student explained that the protocol was not reviewed by a scientific committee.

- The scientific background is short and does not contain references. The plants in the study were not discussed.

- Experimental procedures is written in the past tense.

- There was an inaccuracy in the rats' weights. Sometimes, it was 160 to 200 grams, and sometimes, it was 200 to 250 grams.
- There was a lack of clarity in the anti-inflammatory study, as the student explained that the rats would be divided into four groups (control, anti-inflammatory drug (indomethacin), and two groups treated with peppermint oil. She did not mention which of the three plants).

- It was mentioned that the cells that will be studied in vitro are human lung cancer cells - human stomach cancer cells - human leukemia cells - and human liver cancer cells from the cell bank of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Shanghai Institute of Cell Biology, Shanghai, China). How and by which at method??

- The sample size and groups were not clarified.
- The number of rats was stated to be 40, but it was not explained how the animals would be divided into groups.
- It was stated that no pain was expected from the animal. When asked why, I simply wrote "because."
- The PI suddenly mentioned that she would use mice to produce cancer cells, but did not specify the number of mice or the method for producing the cancer cells.
